Nighttime temperatures are getting lower and the days are getting shorter as another great growing season inches closer to a finish. ‘Croptober’ is in full swing here in Washington at the Grandview farm. Everyday a new strain gets harvested, trimmed, sealed and fresh frozen to ensure we capture the essence of each plant just as they are in the peak of flower. We do this so that our customers can experience the unique and aromatic flavor profiles of all our genetic selections, strain-by-strain.
Our team has dedicated a great deal of time and effort to the selection of our new menu of cultivars. We are looking forward to sharing what we’ve been up to all season. New strains like Orange Sherbet, Strawberry ‘Nana Stash, Molten Melon and many more are now bolstering the roster. This deep strain bench and a constant rotation allows us to continue providing retailers with a variety of fresh new flavors year after year. Utilizing data and scientific method to drive decisions improves our processes every grow cycle, and continues to move us forward.
We are fast approaching our final week of harvest and have been marveling at the quality of this season’s flower. With low overnight temperatures, some cultivars like Cherry Pie and Lilac Jack are producing anthocyanin at higher rates and showing gorgeous hues of pinks and purples as a result. Some people drive for miles to see the senescence of leaves in the autumn – we get to witness it every day here at the farm.
Our goal is and always will be to grow the best quality flower possible because top-shelf concentrates require top-shelf inputs. A deep love for cannabis and this community keeps us passionate and motivated to do what we do, and we’re excited to share this 2019 harvest with our Total Concentrates family.
